Remedial Massage is not just massage itself. This is the application of a combination of therapeutic techniques, used in injury prevention and management and for the treatment of medical conditions.

Techniques used in Remedial Therapy may include deep tissue trigger point therapy, stretching techniques, muscle energy technique, myofascial release technique, joint mobilization, dry needling, myofascial cupping and Kinesiology / Rigid tapping.

This treatment is a more targeted treatment for pain and injury. Massage focuses on parts of the body that require rehabilitation. The therapist will start with a review of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and posture to get a better understanding of the issue causing the injury or pain. The therapist will always have a goal in mind, which is often done over a few sessions, allowing them time to adjust their treatment plan to give their client the best outcome.
